Alana Hay


Managing Director

Alana founded Milestone Creative Australia in 2008. Through Milestone, she has been instrumental in the strategy, acquisition, development and marketing of the largest and most prestigious major events, festivals, precincts, venues, destinations, arts organisations and corporates across Australia. These include Sydney Olympic Park, Royal Botanic Gardens, Vivid Sydney, Sydney Royal Easter Show, Mardi Gras, Corroboree Sydney, Merivale Group, Sydney’s West, Australian National Maritime Museum, Sydney Theatre Company, Bangarra and Performance Space. Alana is a specialist in strategy and marketing of major events, festivals, tourism, business events, creative industries and arts. Her 25 year career spans strategic planning, branding, event acquisition, tourism development, event development and destination marketing.

Tyrah Dunn


Marketing & Account Manager

Tyrah graduated from University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) with a double degree in Events Management & Marketing. As the Marketing Account Manager at Milestone Creative, she manages events of various sizes and types across Australia, and is deeply committed to the company’s mission and the success of every production. Tyrah is passionate about providing high-quality service, and strives to make the entire process enjoyable for everyone involved. Outside of work, Tyrah loves engaging in sports and outdoor leisure activities, cherishes spending quality time with family and friends, and jumps at any chance to travel and explore new places.


Dhawal Damania

Digital Director

Dhawal is an accomplished, well-rounded, and highly-motivated leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and innovative business acumen. Over the last 16 years, Dhawal has demonstrated proven resiliency in running a high-volume b2b/e-commerce website and utilised omnichannel marketing to drive growth marketing and increase business revenue. He also successfully led 200+ digital marketing projects that generated $67 million worth of sales, set up and ran six start-ups in the last eight years, worked with over 225 businesses globally, and got 2 of his clients to the BRW Fastest Growing Businesses in Australia.

Senior Brand & Design Manager

Samantha is a multi-disciplinary creative professional with 14 years experience in the design industry. She specialises in brand development from concept to delivery across multiple channels – from presentations, to print, digital & multimedia. After graduating from the Design Centre Enmore in Sydney, Samantha began her career in production design. She has taken on a variety of roles within film, theatre and live events including art direction, costume and prop design, scenic art, set decoration and styling. This early experience coupled with traditional graphic design enables her to bring a broad, creative and strategic approach to the creative process to provide beautiful, highly creative and tailored solutions to our clients.



Account Director

Marley graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Industries. She has experience within the events industry, the tourism industry and has extensive knowledge in managing social media accounts. Marley has past event and production experience working on The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, The 2019 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Sydney and has organised numerous events in Chennai, India alongside Vermilion Records. She also has 5+ years experience in community engagement and managing social media accounts in both the entertainment and tourism sector.

Ryan has joined Milestone Creative as Marketing & Account Coordinator to manage Milestone’s internal admin & owned media as well as support the team and our clients with digital marketing, media buying, social media and ticketing. Ryan is an eager team member with a passion for innovative business; he excels in critical thinking, problem solving and communication. He’s worked in operational change management, brand development, customer service roles and has a passion for making people happy. Ryan has 2 years experience working in start up businesses where he’s become an expert in communicating important information and filtering key data to best streamline product development.

Jasmeet is a Strategy oriented professional, born with a natural flair for communication to build relationships with potential clients. A keen learner with a creative and innovative mind, she is willing to contribute ideas & professional opinions from different perspectives to any given project.


Alicia Williams

Senior Marketing & Acount Manager

Alicia graduated from Southern Cross University (SCU) with a degree in Business and Tourism Management. Since starting her career in business events marketing at Tourism Australia, Alicia has amassed over 15 years of destination marketing and digital experience at international and local government organisations. She is a proven strategist and campaign manager who has a passion for the travel, hospitality, and business events industries. Outside of work, Alicia loves to spend time with family and friends, cooking and getting out in the garden.

Rachael Dick


Marketing & Account Executive

Rachael is the Marketing and Account Coordinator at Milestone Creative. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for combining creativity with strategy, Rachael’s responsible for managing Milestone’s internal administration as well as supporting both the team and clients across all aspects of marketing. Graduating from Macquarie University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Media, she brings experience in marketing, management, and PR. In her free time, she loves to paint, spend time with friends and loved ones, and explore new places.

Ben Mursa


Content & Social Editor

Ben is an experienced copywriter with a background in SEO copywriting, public relations, email marketing, web design and social media copywriting. Ben ran his own small business specialising in copywriting and web design while at university and has continued to freelance ever since. Growing up in Newcastle has instilled in him a passion for live music, alternative theater and art: especially through festivals like This Is Not Art. He graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2016 with a B. Communication (majoring in media studies) and has worked for a variety of multinational companies, including leading market research firm Ipsos, where he managed the engagement and comms strategy for Ipsos panels in the Asia Pacific.
