YOUTUBE

Get set up and ready to go on YouTube.

You can have multiple people manage your channel without giving them access to your Google Account. Inviting someone to manage your channel:

  • Is safer than sharing your password.
  • Lets you give only the amount of access they need.
  • Is less confusing by making the user comment or view videos on YouTube with their own channel.

To add access:

  1. Go to studio.youtube.com.
  2. On the left-hand side, click Settings.
  3. Click Permissions.
  4. Click Invite and enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite.
  5. Click Access and select the role you’d like to assign to this person
  6. Click Save.

To remove or change access:

  1. Go to studio.youtube.com.
  2. On the left-hand side, click Settings.
  3. Click Permissions.
  4. Go to the person you’d like to remove and click the Down arrow.
  5. Select a new role or click Remove access.
