Get set up and ready to go on TikTok.

  1. Creating a TikTok Business Center will allow you to manage your TikTok ad accounts between multiple users in secure and centralized environment. This article will detail how you can create a TikTok Business Center for your business or organization. Before we get started, let’s quickly review the process:
  2. Sign in to your TikTok For Business account on the TikTok Business Center homepage

Step 1: Sign in to TikTok Business Center

  1. Go to the TikTok Business Center homepage.
    1. You can go directly to the page from your browser, or by clicking the suitcase icon on the top right hand corner of the TikTok Ads Manager dashboard.
  2. ​If you are a TikTok For Business user, but you don’t have a TikTok ad account:
    1. Click Log In to log in to your account.
    2. ​Click Enter Business Center once you are logged in.
  3. If you are not a TikTok For Business user, you will need to sign up as a new user here 

 

Step 2: Create a TikTok Business Center account

  1. ​After logging in, click Create.
  2. ​Name your Business Center and select your time zone.

Partner Requirements

  • ​Only the admin of a TikTok Business Center account can add partners and share assets
  • ​You and your partner must have a TikTok Business Center account
  • ​You must know your partner’s TikTok Business Center account id

 

To Give a Partner Access to Your Assets

  1. ​Log in to your TikTok Business Center account as an admin
  2. ​Find the Partner module under Users, found on the left navigation bar
  3. ​Click Add Partners
  4. ​Input Milestone Creative’s TikTok Business Center account id “7078124564206714881” and click Next
  5. ​Select ad accounts that you want to share with your partner, and assign a role for your partner
  6. ​Click Confirm

To help brands create a unified brand image across all of TikTok’s monetization and business products, TikTok For Business supports linking a TikTok account to a TikTok For Business account. You can link the accounts when you create a TikTok For Business account or connect the accounts after creating a TikTok For Business account.

 

Register a TikTok For Business with a TikTok Account.

One key benefit of this feature is you can use your TikTok account to create a TikTok For Business account. Registering for TikTok For Business with your TikTok account will automatically link the two accounts.

 

You can create a TikTok For Business account with your TikTok account from the: TikTok For Business Sign Up page and the TikTok For Business Log in page.

 

On the TikTok For Business Sign Up page

  1. ​Go to the TikTok For Business Sign Up page.​
  2. Agree to the Terms and Conditions, then click Sign up with TikTok.
  3. ​Sign in to your TikTok account, or create a new one, then click Authorize.
  4. ​Next, create a TikTok Ads Manager account and click Register.
  5. ​Then from the Welcome to TikTok Ads Manager page, finish creating your ad account.

 

On the TikTok For Business Log in page

  1. ​Go to the TikTok For Business Log in page.
  2. ​Click Log in with TikTok.
  3. ​Sign in to your TikTok account, or create a new one, and click Authorize.
  4. ​Then select Create a new TikTok For Business account, agree to the terms and conditions, and click Confirm.
  5. ​Next, create a TikTok Ads Manager account and click Register.
  6. ​Then from the Welcome to TikTok Ads Manager page, finish creating your ad account.

 

Link an existing TikTok For Business account with a TikTok account

There are three ways you can link a TikTok account with your current TikTok For Business account.

 

  • ​TikTok For Business log in page
  • ​TikTok For Business User Settings page
  • ​TikTok Ads Manager’s Ad Creation page

 

From the TikTok for Business Login page

  1. ​Go to the TikTok For Business Log in page.
  2. ​Click Log in with TikTok.
  3. ​Sign in to your TikTok account, or create a new one, and click Authorize.
  4. ​Then select Link with an existing TikTok For Business account, enter your TikTok For Business log-in credentials, and click Confirm.

 

From the TikTok For Business User Settings page

  1. ​Go to your TikTok For Business User Settings page.
    • You can also access the User Settings page from TikTok Ads Manager or Business Center by clicking the profile icon and selecting User Settings.
  2. ​Under Settings > Personal Info > Profile > TikTok Account click Link TikTok Account.
  3. ​Either log in to your TikTok account or sign up for a TikTok account.
    • ​If you receive a notification that you are “Unable to link” because the “TikTok account is already linked to another account,” click Log Out and try linking a different TikTok account.
  4. ​Once you have successfully signed in to your TikTok account, click Authorize to give TikTok For Business access to your TikTok account.
  5. ​Once the accounts are linked, the name of the linked TikTok account will appear on the TikTok Account field on the User Settings page.

 

Linking accounts from the Ad Creation page

  1. ​Create a new campaign and set up an ad group.
  2. ​On the Ad Creation page, enable the Identity toggle.
  3. ​Select Deliver Ads through Business Account and click Link Account.
  4. ​Then follow the prompts to the link accounts.

Add a payment method in Ads Manager

You can add a payment method in either Business Center or Ads Manager.

Note:

  1. ​To use Automatic Payment, you must have a valid Payment Method. We will no longer accept Prepaid Cards for Automatic Payment after June 2021.
  2. ​When you add a Payment Method, it will automatically go through a 3DS verification, and we will deduct 10 USD from your card and refund this charge within 15 days. This is needed to ensure that the card is valid.

 

To add a payment method in Ads Manager

Go to your Ads Manager -> Payment page and add a supported Payment Method to your account, like a credit or debit card.

 

Add a payment method in Business Center

Note: You can only add a payment method to ad accounts owned by the Business Center.

  1. ​Go to Business Center -> Finance -> Payment -> Payment management
  2. ​Find the ad account to which you want to add a payment method, click Link payment method.
  3. ​Add card information and click Submit.

Find your Pixel ID in Event Manager

  1. ​Log in to Ads Manager as Admin.
  2. ​Click ‘Event’ under the ‘Assets’ tab on the category bar.
  3. ​Click ‘Manage’ under ‘Web Events’ to start.
  4. ​Find the unique Pixel ID under each Pixel tab.

 

Add a Pixel to your Business Center

Pixels can be created in Events Manager by an ad account. In order to start sharing the Pixel, the Business Center admin must transfer the Pixel from the ad account to the Business Center.

 

  1. ​Log in to Business Center as Admin.
  2. ​Click Pixel under the ‘Assets’ tab on the sidebar.
  3. ​Click Add Pixel to start transferring.
  4. ​Enter the ID of the Pixel you wish to transfer in the “Transfer Pixel” pop-up window. Click Confirm to finish.
  5. ​Once your Pixel has been transferred to the Business Center, you’re ready to start sharing this with other ad accounts and partners.

 

Grant Pixel Access to an Ad Account

  1. ​Log in to Business Center as Admin and click Pixel under the “Assets” tab on the sidebar.
  2. ​Select the Pixel from the list that you want to share.
  3. ​Under the Linked Assets tab, click Assign Assets to display a list of ad accounts that the Business Center has access to.
    • If the ad accounts you’d like to share a Pixel with are not connected to the Business Center, read Add ad accounts to Business Center to learn how to do so.
  4. ​Select the ad accounts you want to assign the Pixel to, and click Assign.
  5. ​The selected ad accounts will be authorized to view data of Pixels and use Pixel for ads.

 

Grant Pixel Access to a Partner

  1. ​Log in to Business Center as Admin and click Pixel under the “Assets” tab on the sidebar.
  2. ​Select the Pixel from the list that you want to share under the Pixel tab.
  3. ​Under the “Partners” tab, click Add Partners.
  4. ​Enter the partner’s Business Center ID and click Confirm to finish.
  5. ​Once you’ve shared a Pixel with your partner, they’re able to share your Pixel with their own ad accounts, and cannot re-share it with a third BC.
