Create a new business account that’s not connected to any other Pinterest accounts.
To create a new business account, the email you use to sign up must not already be in use on an existing Pinterest account.
If you’re an employee or an agency partner creating a business account to access your company’s or client’s ad account , we recommend using your professional email and your own name rather than the name of your business. This helps the owner of the account identify and validate the people who have access to their account.
Create a business account that’s linked to your personal account and easily switch between accounts. You’ll use the same email and password to sign into both accounts. You can link up to four business accounts to a personal Pinterest account. You must be logged into a personal account to create a linked business account.
When you enter your business information in your ad account, it will appear in the address portion of your billing receipt.
This receipt may be used for tax purposes so you should include any information that needs to be clearly indicated on the receipt
If you want to track conversions or target specific audiences, you need to set up a separate Pinterest Tag and create audiences for each of your ad accounts.
If you select the wrong billing currency during set-up or need to switch the account currency, you will need to create a new account in the correct country and/or currency.
Add Partners
Before adding a partner, you’ll need to ask your partner for their business ID, which is located below their business name on their Business Access page.
Alternatively, you can add partners by clicking Ad accounts in the left-side navigation, selecting an ad account, clicking the Partners tab and clicking Assign partners.
Assign ad account permissions to partners
Alternatively, you can assign account permissions by clicking Ad accounts in the left-side navigation, selecting an ad account and clicking Assign partners.
View and edit partners’ ad account permissions
Alternatively, you can view and edit partners’ ad account permissions by clicking Ad accounts in the left-side navigation and then selecting the ad account.
Set up prepaid billing
If you decide to set up prepaid billing, you will not be able to switch the ad account’s billing method for later on. If you decide you want to use a different billing method, you’ll need to set up another ad account.
Update your payment details
If your payment details change, you can update them.
The Pinterest tag is a piece of code that you add to your website. It lets Pinterest track visitors to your site, as well as the actions they take on your site after seeing your Pinterest ad.
