Google My Business (Google Business Profile) Access Setup

1. Access Requirements
You need to provide Milestone Creative with Manager access to your Google Business Profile. If you don’t have one yet, follow the setup instructions below.

2. Granting Access to an Existing Google Business Profile
  1. Go to business.google.com and sign in with the account that manages your profile.
  2. Select your business from the list.
    On the left-hand menu, click Settings → Managers (or Business Profile Settings → People and access if using the new layout).
  3. Click Add.
  4. Enter marketing@milestonecreative.com.au.
  5. Choose Manager or Owner access.
     
    • Manager gives full control to edit information, post updates, and access insights.
    • Owner gives complete administrative control, including user management.

       

  6. Click Invite.
  7. Confirm when Milestone Creative appears as a user.

     

3. If the Client Has No Google Business Profile
A. Create a New Business Profile
  1. Go to business.google.com/create.
  2. Sign in with your business Google account.
  3. Enter your business name.
  4. Choose the appropriate business category (e.g. Marketing Agency, Café, Retail Store).
  5. Select Yes or No to indicate if you have a physical location customers visit.
  6. Enter your address (if applicable). Add your service areas (if applicable).
  7. Enter your business phone number and website URL.
  8. Click Finish.
Complete the verification process (by post, phone, or email).
 
4. Adding Milestone Creative Once the Profile Is Verified
  1. After verification, go to business.google.com.
  2. Select your business.
  3. Go to Settings → Managers.
  4. Click Add.
    Enter marketing@milestonecreative.com.au.
  5. Choose Manager access.
  6. Click Invite.

     

 

5. Linking to Other Google Services (Optional but Recommended)
To improve reporting and ad integration:
  1. Ensure your Google My Business profile uses the same Google account as your Google Ads or Analytics account.
  2. In Google Ads, go to Tools (spanner icon) → Linked Accounts → Google My Business.
  3. Click Link and select your verified business.
  4. This enables location extensions and performance tracking in campaigns.
