Rose spent almost a decade in the events industry, focusing predominantly on major theatrical productions.
She is passionate about promoting the arts in Australia, having grown up totally immersed in theatre and music thanks to her highly theatrical family. She understands how much of a positive impact the arts and events can have – inspiring us, challenging us, and bringing us together.
Her career kicked off specialising in ticketing strategy, working for both Ticketmaster and Sydney Theatre Company. Rose is certain her time spent in ticketing prepared her better than anything else for event marketing. She went onto work for some incredible producers including Newtheatricals (Jersey Boys, The Addams Family, Blue Man Group), and Michael Cassel Group (Les Miserables, Kinky Boots), and for Destination NSW on Vivid Sydney, where she worked alongside Milestone Creative’s founder, Alana Hay. She has also worked as a media buyer for ACMN.
More recently, Rose took an extended hiatus in Mexico, where she worked as general manager of a major yoga and meditation centre. There she continued to exercise her talents in marketing and ticketing, while broadening her skillset to finance, operations, and human resource management. This was also a time where her yoga and meditation practice deepened, and she began teaching regularly and even leading silent meditation retreats.
Now back in Australia, Rose has been drawn back to event marketing due to the opportunity to work part time for Milestone Creative, whose work ethic, ‘can-do’ attitude, and creativity have always been a source of inspiration.
