Alana Hay

Alana is the founder of Milestone Creative Australia. She is a specialist in strategy and marketing of major events, festivals, tourism, business events, creative industries and the arts. Her 25 year career spans strategic planning, branding, event acquisition, tourism development, event development and destination marketing.

 

Alana is passionate about the events industry, the arts and the development of engaging public places and spaces. She has a deep understanding of events and the role they play in creating inclusive and vibrant destinations and communities, and she loves creating connections between communities and events for branding, tourism, commercial and visitation outcomes.

 

Alana has been instrumental in the development and marketing of the largest and most prestigious major events, festivals, precincts, venues, destinations, arts organisations and corporates across Australia and overseas. These include Sydney Olympic Park, Royal Botanic Gardens, Vivid Sydney, Sydney Royal Easter Show, Mardi Gras, Corroboree Sydney, Merivale Group, Destination NSW, Sydney’s West, Australian National Maritime Museum, China National Convention Centre, Momentum Group, Sydney Theatre Company, Bangarra and Performance Space.

 

Alana regularly delivers presentations and training for the industry on topics including strategy, tourism, marketing, major events, event acquisition, event development and digital marketing.

 

Alana is active in the industry, is on the Board of Directors of Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) and is an Accredited Fellow Member of MEA (AFMEA). She was named Sales, Marketing or Business Development Person of the Year at the Meetings & Events Australia National Awards in May 2018. The latest awards presented to Milestone in 2019 include ‘Best Achievement in Marketing, Communication or Sponsorship’ for work on Sydney SailGP 2019 and winner of the ‘Best PR and Marketing’in the Spice Hot 100: Services and Suppliers list of 2019.

Marley Hole

Marley joined us at Milestone Creative as the Social Media & Digital Coordinator in January of 2020. Moving to an Account Manager, Marley has managed campaigns such as Music in The Sky, Rosé Coast Gold Coast and is currently managing Australia Sail Grand Prix 2021.    

Marley graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Industries. She has experience within the events industry, the tourism industry and has extensive knowledge in managing social media accounts.

 

Marley has past event and production experience working on The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and The 2019 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Sydney. She has 6+ years experience in community engagement and managing social media accounts in both the entertainment, tourism and events industry.

Michal Zdanowicz

Hailing from the sunny state of Western Australia Michal has lived the dream in the Tourism and events industries for 10+ years. 

 

Michal brings extensive experience in destination, event marketing, corporate and government sectors. He is a natural problem solver, innovator and creative and with his outstanding organisational skills he can juggle and prioritise projects, tasks and deadlines. 

 

A passionate, innovative all-rounder with strong industry and media networks, Michal is apt at utilising the full spectrum of marketing and communication tools available to manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, wrangle media, social content and engagement, digital marketing to drive event attendance, leads and visitation outcomes.

 

Michal previously worked for Western Australia’s peak tourism body (Tourism Western Australia) across destination branding, communications, PR, digital and social media marketing. Most recently he led promotions for two large-scale cultural tourism art projects in WA, the PUBLIC Silo Trail and Field of Light: Avenue of Honour for cultural organisation FORM, transforming one major festival and a regional mural art project into record-breaking tourism success stories.

 

An avid traveller, lover of languages and an amateur “folk” dancer, in his spare time (when travel is permitted), you’ll find Michal solo backpacking continental Asia, hiking the fjords of Norway, learning Swedish in remote Lapland – and for now, partaking in traditional Polish folk dancing in Sydney.

 

Michal holds a Masters of Tourism Destination Development and a Bachelor of Tourism Management.

Ashleigh Ho

Ashleigh has worked in a myriad of roles in the arts and culture, tourism and events industries. From experiencing these, she eventually found her love for marketing and content writing. Ashleigh is excited to be joining Milestone Creative as a Ticketing and Marketing Manager.

 

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Ashleigh has over three years of theatre experience under her belt. She has worked with companies like Pinchgut Opera, Checkpoint Theatre in Singapore, and Marian Street Theatre for Young People (MSTYP), both backstage and as a producer.

 

Ashleigh’s main talent lies in content writing and marketing. She was previously the publicity assistant at Kabuku Public Relations, where she worked alongside some of Australia’s most renowned performing arts companies. When working with MSTYP, Ashleigh assisted in curating marketing strategies for various productions and the drama school. She also managed digital marketing for the organisation. Ashleigh will graduate with a Bachelor of Marketing and Media from Macquarie University in mid-2022.

Haider Rehman

Haider is a self-motivated and hard-working team member with experience in digital marketing, content marketing and social media. He is highly skilled in digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Bing and Search with a focus on leads and sales.

Haider has previously worked in a digital media agency. an education startup and has freelanced for over a decade. He has a strategic, analytical, streamlined and efficient approach to his accounts and is used to working with evolving client needs and changing deadlines. He is also a great team player with versatile experience in content writing and digital marketing plus service level enhancement, project strategy implementation, administration and planning, making him an experienced digital marketer with a holistic approach to his clients.

Jenifer Nguyen

Jenifer has a long history in the start-up and corporate world, with experience in both marketing and operations.

 

Having built her own online food marketplace platform previously, she joins Milestone Creative as a Digital Account Manager to focus on providing quality service to our customers through strategic paid digital marketing initiatives. Jenifer is excited to help businesses grow and reach their goals through comprehensive and effective marketing campaigns.

 

When she's not in front of the computer, she enjoys riding motorcycles, camping or experimenting in the kitchen.

Samantha Bailey
Samantha is a multi-disciplinary creative professional with 10 years experience in the design industry. She specialises in brand development from concept to delivery across multiple channels - from presentations, to print, digital and motion graphics.
 
After graduating from the Design Centre Enmore in Sydney, Samantha began her career in production design. She has taken on a variety of roles within film, theatre and live events including art direction, costume and prop design, scenic art, set decoration and styling. 
 
This early experience coupled with traditional graphic design enables her to bring a broad, creative and strategic approach to the creative process to provide beautiful, highly creative and tailored solutions to our clients.
Ryan Goodwin

Ryan has joined Milestone Creative as Marketing & Account Coordinator to manage Milestone's internal admin and owned media as well as support the team and our clients with digital marketing, media buying, social media and ticketing.

 

Ryan is an eager team member with a passion for innovative business; he excels in critical thinking, problem solving and communication. He's worked in operational change management, brand development, customer service roles and has a passion for making people happy. 

 

Ryan has 2 years experience working in start up businesses where he's become an expert in communicating important information and filtering key data to best streamline product development.

 

He is an aspiring marketer who has particular interest is marketing small businesses. He also has a keen interest in graphic design and intends on following this interest in the future in order to become a better wholistic brand expert.

 

In his time off, Ryan spends time with family or travelling around Australia, visiting Australia's many Vineyards and enjoying the many wines and cheeses Australia has to offer. He loves Sydney culture and is always ready to spend his time engaging with Sydney's many events and hidden gems.

Tyrah Dunn

Tyrah has joined Milestone Creative as Marketing and Account Coordinator to assist in all aspects of the business. From content creation, ticketing, social media, digital media, media buying, to assisting the team and our broad range of clients.
She has worked with small businesses in a number of different industries as a Marketing Coordinator. From this, Tyrah has formed a love for all things marketing.

 

Graduating with a double degree in Events Management and Marketing, Tyrah is passionate about Milestone Creative’s mission and success of all productions. She is driven and motivated to provide quality service, whilst making the journey enjoyable.

 

In her spare time, Tyrah enjoys all things sport and outdoor leisure activities. She enjoys quality time with her family and friends, and you’ll find her traveling Australia at any opportunity she gets.

Josefina Olivera

Josefina has a degree in Social Communications and has spent her entire career working with social media. She is a content enthusiast and a marketing lover.

 

After a short (and fun) experience in the fashion industry, she has focused on creating fresh and attractive content for all kinds of clients (from massive companies to small businesses). Her experience in a Content and Influencer Marketing Agency shaped her into a fast creative mind, agile problem solver and strategic thinker.

 

When in need to disconnect from everyday’s voragine, she makes hand poured soy wax candles. A well written book is her best company and the beach her favorite place.

 

Josefina has joined Milestone Creative as a Content & Social Editor to plan and manage social media campaigns and support the team with all sorts of digital contents.
