Alana is passionate about the events industry, the arts and the development of engaging public places and spaces. She has a deep understanding of events and the role they play in creating inclusive and vibrant destinations and communities, and she loves creating connections between communities and events for branding, tourism, commercial and visitation outcomes.
Alana has been instrumental in the development and marketing of the largest and most prestigious major events, festivals, precincts, venues, destinations, arts organisationsand corporates across Australia and overseas.These include Sydney Olympic Park, Royal Botanic Gardens, Vivid Sydney, Sydney Royal Easter Show, Mardi Gras, Corroboree Sydney, Merivale Group, Destination NSW, Sydney’s West, Australian National Maritime Museum, China National Convention Centre, Momentum Group, Sydney Theatre Company, Bangarra and Performance Space.
Alana regularly delivers presentations and training for the industry on topics including strategy, tourism, marketing, major events, event acquisition, event development and digital marketing.
Alana is active in the industry, is on the Board of Directors of Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) and is an Accredited Fellow Member of MEA (AFMEA). She was named Sales, Marketing or Business Development Person of the Year at the Meetings & Events Australia National Awards in May 2018. The latest awards presented to Milestone in 2019 include ‘Best Achievement in Marketing, Communication or Sponsorship’ for work on Sydney SailGP 2019 and winner of the ‘Best PR and Marketing’in the Spice Hot 100: Services and Suppliers list of 2019.

Beckie Lee
Marketing Campaign Manager
Over the years, Beckie has built up her marketing expertise working at a number of well-known travel companies putting together destination-focused campaigns, producing multiple travel brochures, managing websites, creating sales collateral, managing social media and undertaking consumer and trade advertising.
Beckie has organised an international ski conference where she was solely responsible for putting together the program, securing the speakers, organising accommodation, registering people for the conference and marketing through social media, print and direct mail.
Additionally, Beckie has content writing experience on a range of topics although her strength is on travel writing. She has visited 40 countries so travel is truly her passion!

Chris Hoggard
Digital Marketing Manager
He has embraced many roles throughout his career – marketer, salesman, analyst, and event planner. As a result, he has a unique understanding of multi-disciplined projects and that every brand speaks to their target audience in their own way. Chris has worked in a variety of roles in events, conferences, exhibitions and tourism sectors, including PCO’s and managing marketing campaigns for AIME, the largest exhibition for the events sector.
Chris’ role encompasses digital strategy, content creation, and campaign management for Milestone, major events and coprorate clients including Saxton, Celebrity Speakers, SMC, Bathurst Winter Festival, Ocean Plastics Congress and Meetings and Events Australia, to name a few. He is responsible for creating and delivering written strategies, digital media planning and buying, digital placement, community management across social channels and eDMs, creation and curation of innovative, click-worthy content and design that drives leads, conversion and sales.

Leila Khiev
Studio Manager
She has developed numerous creative brand activation concepts for the biggest corporate and consumer events in Australia. She project manages entire creative processes from concept to creation and oversees on-site activities to ensure effective delivery.
Leila has worked with clients from Australia, UK, France, USA, China, Singapore and Japan.

Fiona Sutherland
Marketing Account Coordinator
Fiona managed the national ticketing and sales strategy on behalf of the producers for The Lion King, Matilda the Musical, Ghost the Musical, and Georgy Girl.
She has also provided customised ticketing solutions and management, package development and client relationship management across theatre, arts and events.
Some of these include Sydney Film Festival and various major shows including Jersey Boys, Mary Poppins, King Kong, Mrs Browns Boys, The Addams Family, War Horse, Legally Blonde, Love Never Dies, and Wicked.

Freya Lombardo
Public Relations – Journalist, Features Writer, Arts & Creative Industries Publicist
Freya brings expertise in researching and generating fresh, feature concepts; conducting interviews with designers, architects, artists, musicians and entertainment industry people. She writes with an inspirational tone to match the audience or website to match the brief.
Freya is also an experience media consultant, having worked on Vivid Sydney 2013-2015, securing major coverage for Vivid Ideas keynote speakers, growing media partnerships and hosting media representatives at networking, media calls and signature events. Freya and Alana worked together as consultants to Vivid Ideas for 2013-2015 and Freya has delivered PR for Milestone clients including Australian National Maritime Museum and the 2016 Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art.
