Marketing & Account Manager

Overview of the role

The Marketing & Account Manager is involved in all aspects of marketing planning and campaigns for our clients, including research, strategic planning, media planning and buying, digital marketing, content, design and print and creative think-storms.

Details

  • You will be responsible for overseeing project timelines for clients, ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Liaise and communicate with/between clients, suppliers and staff to ensure professional delivery and service
  • Ensure that all creative and marketing elements of a project are managed smoothly and professionally
  • Prepare and manage advertising buys
  • Manage project budgets for clients
  • Research and write strategy documents
  • Prepare creative briefs
  • Liaise with media and marketing providers
  • Liaise with graphic designer to create designs
  • Create and resize images for campaigns using Photoshop
  • Write, design, build and sending eDMs
  • Write content and upload to social media
  • Assist with digital advertising content and upload
  • Work with creative contributors to create story boards to send to the client
  • Oversee Milestone Creative’s own social media channels including writing and scheduling content, uploading and responding
  • Maintain Milestone Creative’s website – update with client logos, projects, blogs
  • Prepare quotes, budgets and proposal documents for clients
  • Assistance with preparing post event reports with full description of how a project unfolded and any learnings

Administration

  • Strong administration including typing, filing, printing, document binding and other administrative duties
  • IT and other office support as needed
  • Ensure all files are saved in the central drive
  • Maintain the resource section of the drive, ensuring media kits and other folders are updated
  • Maintain the central database, ensuring all business contacts are saved and updated
  • Update leads, opportunities and communications in the central database weekly
  • Documentation of minutes of meetings and discussions
  • Update the team WIP each week
  • General office duties
  • Organise or offer food and beverage for guests
  • Maintain a clean and tidy office space Liaison and communication

Other skills

  • Superior / advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent English, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional grammar including professional writing
  • Report writing
  • Exceptional analytical skills – Namely data analysis and interpretation, ability to research and analyse marketing and digital media data

Manner and approach

  • Fastidious attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner, professional and confident
  • Liaison with venues to organise venue related event enquiries, as needed
  • Consistently maintain good relations with clients and suppliers, representing MILESTONE CREATIVE AUSTRALIA in the best possible, professional and friendly manner
