Alana has enjoyed an exciting 20 year career in the events industry, with vast experience covering event management, entertainment programming, catering, venue operations, business development and marketing.
 
Alana is passionate about the events industry, the arts, tourism and the development of engaging public places, spaces and events that create inclusive, shared experiences. She loves working with start-ups, creating opportunities and connections. Alana has worked with Sydney’s most prestigious venues, precincts and major events, including Vivid Sydney, Sydney Royal Easter Show and Corroboree Sydney, plus a vast stable of valued clients covering corporates, venues, tourism bodies and destinations.
 
Alana is active in the industry: she is the current Chairperson of the NSW Branch of Meetings & Events Australia (MEA), Chaired the Events subcommittee (2009-2013), has been on the MEA Branch since 2009, has been an active member since 2003 and regularly delivers presentations and training for the events industry on topics including marketing, major events, event acquisition and event development.
